BRANDS

We design to create products that last, both in terms of function and aesthetics. For us, this means high-quality designs that are produced with honest materials, and with an aesthetic appeal that we believe will last the test of time – we look at it as Aesthetic Sustainability. The most sustainable is for all of us to buy less, buy better and to keep things in use for longer. We have a passion for authentic design with a clear functionality, and take pride in creating products that help you to balance the contrasts of life, making it easier for you to make good choices.

We do not believe in popularity contests, but in ideals based on life nourished by quirky, cheerful content and curious messages. We deal with every bit of our nonsens and stay stubbornly true to unfettered creativity. We are focused on finding playful moments, and do not have to travel far to find the magic in everyday life.
We stand for environmentally friendly products with high artistic quality. The range includes everything from bed linen, kitchen-and interior fabrics, posters and fashion, for children and young-at-heart adults.

We love colors and we love simplicity.

There is nothing better than a perfect-fitting T-shirt or Hoodie, long lasting, and developed from the highest quality organic cotton.

We also don’t care much for seasons or trends. We are more into timeless classics that will most likely never become outdated.

Our pieces are here for the long run.
They are sustainable, colorful and uncomplicated.

Our uncomplicated pieces are made from 100% Organic cotton, which means cotton that is grown without genetically modified seeds. And on top of that, they are made by hardworking people who are treated as humans should be treated. That means fair wages, no discrimination and freely chosen employment.

The idea for Haps Nordic and a recyclable food bag started on a trip to Asia with my family during our maternity leave. Our son was 9 months at the time and had to eat a lot of small meals frequently.

As a textile designer, it has always been essential for me to produce as environmentally friendly as possible, whilst caring for the people involved.
Therefor we work closely together with our GOTS-ceritfied factories.

Our design philosophy is simple: Beautifull products you like to keep and cherish, making it easy for all of us to minimize food and plastic waste.

Living Scandinavian is not just which part of the world you come from, it’s also how you think, how you treat others and the nature that surrounds you, and what you treasure. We believe a more Scandinavian approach to life offers a blueprint for a better future in a world that’s forgetting how to listen to quieter voices.

Skandinavisk was started by a curious English chap, Shaun, who fell in love with a blonde Scandinavian gardener and never left. He was joined by a second English emigrant, Gerry, who shared his love for Scandinavia and a Danish designer, Line, who captured their combined experiences and translated it all into our distinctive design DNA.

The original shapes found in nature are authentic, harmonic, and balanced — and ones we do not want to tamper with. It coexists with other objects, and works around them as it grows. Humankind was born from nature, too: our shape stems from it, along with our mind. Nature has given us solutions that we have lost touch with in a growing urbanized world. Nature is our sole source of inspiration. Everything we do is inspired by it: our themes, creativity, structures, shapes, and experiences.

Ontwerpduo is now an established name in Dutch design. What started as a duo is now a design studio with a close-knit team of devisers and doers. The studio has been creating on request and autonomously since 2008. Ontwerpduo’s premises are on the historic site where the first electricity generating station in Eindhoven stood (from 1912). The building is part of the NRE area, and acts as design studio, laboratory, workshop and showroom. Part of the production is carried out there, and the rest is produced as close to home as possible: mostly in the Netherlands, never outside Europe.

CINK was created to provide stylish and environmentally friendly dinnerware for your baby, toddler and child. With a palette of 5 gender neutral colors, it perfectly complements the modern home and is suited to all ages in your family.

They are coloured only with water-based, food-proof colour pigments and unlike traditional melamine products CINK are not coated with any surface treatments.

We offer a holistically and environmentally conscious series of products that include packaging made from recycled material.

Teministeriet is a specialty tea company from Malmö, Sweden.  With roots from the island of Formosa, Teministeriet combines age-old tea traditions of the Far East with Scandinavian minimalism, design and flair.

Of the company ethos, cofounder Kathryn Brown’s says, “My dream was to take everything I’ve learned about tea while growing up in Taiwan and recreating it with the flavors and design esthetics of Scandinavia where I now live and love.”

From Chinese Bai-Mu-Dan white tea with familiar fragrances of elderflower and champagne to a green Sencha with wild berries of the north, each tea is a reflection of its multicultural inspiration.

Scandinavian design aesthetic, Monograph creates quality items that add style, comfort and personality to your home and office. Our approach

At OK Design we design and manufacture simple and poetic furniture in Danish design tradition, combining elegant shapes and silhouettes to create light and clean design pieces.

All OK Design products are made in the EU. Product materials and work conditions live up to EU standards and regulations. Because our products are manufactured locally transport time and fuel emission is limited.
The only product, in our collection, not manufactured in the EU, is the Ama hammock which is handmade in Yucatan, Mexico by Maya Indians, under circumstances we have approved.

It is essential for us to design products made from easily recyclable natural materials, respecting the environment. We want to fight against the disposable culture – our products are made to last from one generation to the next.

An important link in the whole is the manufacturing that we wanted to keep in the surrounding areas. All our products are manufactured either in Finland or in the neighboring areas of Sweden and the Baltic countries. We spend a lot of time looking for good manufacturers. We look at how they work to make sure we maintain good quality and delivery on time. It is important for us to be able to tell our customers under what conditions our products are manufactured.

Like most people, we like to surround ourselves with nicely crafted, good quality things in our everyday life and we try to make home a comfortable and heartwarming place that feels welcoming. But we are just as passionate about recycling as we are about design. Vintage and antiques offer the best of both and along the way, we have fallen in love with the traditional, handmade Swedish rag rug – an ingenious art of recycling!
